10.07.06 IT’S ALL OVER
Monday, July 10th, 2006
Well, the World Cup is over, so it’s back-to-work time! But, before that, there’s just time to note my favourite World Cup moment. Not Argentina’s 24 pass wonder-goal, not Zizou’s crazy headbutt, not The Hoff’s enduring appeal in Germany, but the post-France v Korea scenes in Trafalgar Square. Several hundred Korean fans, all in head to toe red, danced wildly for two hours after the game – and then went round the square picking up the litter! It’s a funny old game.

05.07.06 CANDICE MAKES A SPLASH
Monday, July 10th, 2006
The Sunday Times Magazine this week ran a major feature on Candice and her photographic campaign for fresh2o/Water Aid. Aside from being an outstanding fashion photographer, Candice is famed for her stunning underwater photography and her fresh2o campaign features a range of celebrities looking amazing under the water, most notably Keira Knightley. But the most entertaining images are arguably of Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain doing some spectacular aquatic drumming or of Judge Jules DJ-ing on the bottom of an Ibizan swimming pool. Candice has shot a number of covers and fashion stories for us both on location and at her south London studio – but we’re still waiting for a client to let us into the water with her!
Details of the fresh2o project can be found at fresh2o.org, while more of Candice’s work can be seen at candice.co.uk – or hanging in my hall!
